Azure Document Intelligence API Version Options in MarkItDown

MarkItDown defaults to Azure Document Intelligence API version 2024-07-31-preview, but allows you to specify any supported version via the docintel_api_version parameter when initializing the converter.

The microsoft/markitdown library integrates with Azure Document Intelligence (formerly Form Recognizer) to convert complex documents like PDFs into markdown. Because Azure regularly releases new API versions with enhanced model capabilities, MarkItDown provides flexible configuration options to target specific API endpoints rather than forcing a static version.
